About Dr. Amanda Biles

Amanda Biles is an Adjunct Professor of History at Abilene Christian University. She attended law school
at Texas Tech University and earned her MA from the University of Central Oklahoma. Amanda holds a
PhD from North Dakota State University with research focusing on rural history and the intersection of
politics, agricultural policy, and identity formation. Amanda has ten years of teaching experience in
higher education and currently teaches courses in US History, Public History, and Geography at ACU.
