ABILENE HERITAGE SQUARE (AHS) FACILITY MANAGER (FULL-TIME, SALARY EXEMPT)
We are seeking an experienced and qualified individual to serve as AHS Facility Manager under the direction of the AHS Director of Facility Operations. This person will be responsible for supporting the daily operations, maintenance, safety, cleanliness, security, and functionality of Abilene Heritage Square. The Facility Manager will work closely with the Director of Facility Operations to ensure that the campus, buildings, equipment, technology, and event spaces are properly maintained and operational. The Facility Manager will develop a thorough working knowledge of AHS building systems and facility technology, and will be expected to operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and provide day-to-day support for these systems. The position will serve as an important operational resource to the Director of Facility Operations and will provide coverage and support for facility operations when the Director is unavailable.
A bachelor’s degree is preferred in Facility Management, Building Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in facility management, building operations, maintenance, construction, technology systems, or a related field may substitute for the educational requirement. Candidates must be able to work on Saturdays as a regular part of the work schedule. Candidates must also be able to work evenings, weekends, special events, and other nontraditional hours as needed.

EVENT STAFF (PART-TIME)
The Grace Museum is seeking a capable individual looking for part-time employment to join our Event Staff team! This position works primarily on weekends and in the evenings, with some hours during the day. Flexibility is required as the work schedule may vary from week to week. The Event Staff works together to set-up and teardown items used for special events held at the Museum such as tables, chairs, trash cans, sound and lighting equipment, according to specifications provided by the Director of Events. This position requires heavy lifting, the ability to stack multiple chairs and teardown tables, in addition to other clean-up duties as assigned. This position requires strong communication skills, dependability, an orientation toward customer service, a positive temperament, and the ability to be flexible within specific guidelines.
The rate of pay for this position is $14 per hour. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and available to work late on Saturday evenings. The Grace Museum will conduct a background check on all applicants. The Grace Museum is an equal opportunity employer.
