FACILITY & EVENTS SPECIALIST
The Grace Museum is seeking a full-time Facility and Events Specialist. Work schedule is flexible, including evenings and weekends. The Facility and Events Specialist is responsible for performing duties related to special events, rentals, guest services, building maintenance, and janitorial duties. Also, monitor security systems when needed to protect the building, objects of art, employees, volunteers, and visitors to the Museum. This individual must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service skills, the ability to work as an effective team member as well as independently, work experience using a computer, and have the ability to be flexible within specific guidelines. Money handling/point of sale experience is preferred. Qualified candidates must have the physical ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods of time, to lift and carry at least 50 lbs, and to bend, stoop and lift materials and equipment.
Full-time hourly position. Rate of pay is $17 per hour. Must be available to work on Saturdays until late in the evening. Must be at least 18 years of age. Background checks are required.
