This workshop will focus on discovering the history that exists right in our own backyard. We will start the day at The Grace Museum, then the group will enjoy a bus tour with narration by local historian, Jay Moore, as we visit various historic locations around Abilene. Following lunch on your own, the group will gather at the Curtis House Cultural Center for a special tour by Rev. Andrew Penns about Black community history in Abilene. The workshop will conclude at The Grace.
