A NOTE TO OUR VISITORS
Road construction is taking place in front of The Grace Museum this summer. This is a city improvement and beautification project that will ultimately turn Cypress into a two-way drivable street with new parking spaces, wider sidewalks, and nicely paved crosswalks and intersections.
We are working directly with the city on their construction schedule to help minimize noise and debris during high traffic times, as well as avoiding construction work during the hours that a special event is taking place at the Museum.
We are now in Phase 3 of the Road Construction Project, as indicated on the adjacent map. The sidewalks will remain OPEN for pedestrians; however, some areas are currently inaccessible to street traffic (marked in red).
BLOCKED AREAS:
• Cypress Street from N. 1st to N. 3rd
• N. 2nd intersection
PARKING
Visitors can park for FREE in the open-air parking lot or the covered Grace Garage located just behind the Museum (west side). Additional nearby parking areas are identified on the map (yellow & blue).
ENTRANCE
Visitors should enter the Museum at the south Lobby door (facing N. 1st). This will serve as our primary entrance while construction is underway. A wheelchair-accessible ramp is also located on the south side of the building.
