Originals: Works on Paper from the Permanent Collection
The phrase ‘works on paper’ refers to works of art created on a paper substrate, encompassing a wide range of media. Each one is an original expression of the artist’s process and style. This exhibition demonstrates the wide variety of outstanding drawings, watercolors, lithographs, serigraphs, etchings, and mixed media compositions from The Grace Museum’s permanent art collection. Josef Albers, Robert Motherwell, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, James Surls, Peter Hurd, Lee Krasner, Robert Pruesser, and Robert Roauschenberg are just a few of the artists whose works on paper are included in the exhibition.
