$7.00
Monthly art classes just for homeschool students & families!
INSTRUCTOR: Christy Biebighauser
PROJECT: Egg Tempera Illuminated Letters
Explore the origins and techniques of painting with egg tempera – an ancient technique still used today – inspired by featured gallery artist, John Cobb. Students will learn about medieval manuscripts, illuminated letters, and how using egg tempera was the paint of choice in the Middle Ages. Each student will mix their own egg tempera paint and create their own heraldic-style animal icon/portrait. Homeschool Art Day projects are adjustable for all ages and skill levels.
