Join us in the Grace Studio!
We will be learning the basics of a printmaking technique called drypoint etching. This printmaking technique involves using a sharp pointed tool to carve an image into a plate. The process creates a raised, rough edge around the lines called a burr, which holds ink.
Feel free to bring a photo to use for your project – a favorite pet, place, or anything you would like to recreate! We will also have a selection of images you can choose from if you do have a photo to bring.
No experience necessary!
Grace Studio classes are for lifelong learners and lifelong artists. Bring a friend or come make a new one! Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks to enjoy while you work.
