EVENT STAFF (PART-TIME)

The Grace Museum is seeking a capable individual looking for part-time employment to join our Event Staff team! This position works primarily on weekends and in the evenings, with some hours during the day. Flexibility is required as the work schedule may vary from week to week. The Event Staff works together to set-up and teardown items used for special events held at the Museum such as tables, chairs, trash cans, sound and lighting equipment, according to specifications provided by the Director of Events. This position requires heavy lifting, the ability to stack multiple chairs and teardown tables, in addition to other clean-up duties as assigned. This position requires strong communication skills, dependability, an orientation toward customer service, a positive temperament, and the ability to be flexible within specific guidelines.

The rate of pay for this position is $14 per hour. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and available to work late on Saturday evenings. The Grace Museum will conduct a background check on all applicants. The Grace Museum is an equal opportunity employer.

FACILITY MANAGER (FULL-TIME)

The Grace Museum is seeking a capable individual looking for full-time employment to join our team. This position works Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm, with additional on-call responsibilities. The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of The Grace Museum’s buildings and grounds. This position ensures the proper functioning of all facility systems – including mechanical, electrical, security, technology, and coordinates with vendors, contractors, and staff to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for visitors and employees. In addition, the Facility Manager supports staff in all technology and audio/video needs. The Facility Manager must be available on a 24-hour basis to respond immediately to security or maintenance emergencies.

This position requires a high level of physical activity and endurance. Must be able to lift and carry 50+ lbs; sit, stand, and climb stairs for extended periods; climb ladders and work at heights; and other similar physical activities (see job description for details). Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent education. Previous experience in facility maintenance required or education in specific field. Experience with audio/visual systems, computer technology, and basic building systems also preferred.
