Seeking enrichment for your advanced students?
Mix It Up! Art + Science classes are designed to challenge GT and advanced-curriculum 3rd, 4th & 5th grade students (ages 8-12) and will meet various Art and Science TEKS. Each 2-hour class will be led by an art educator from The Grace Museum and a science educator from Spark Science Center who will guide students through a hands-on activity that blends together related art and science principles for optimal learning.

Four different class options will be offered during the 2026-2027 school year. Public schools, private schools, charter schools, homeschooling groups, and co-ops are all invited to register their students.

All classes will be held from 9:30-11:30 AM in the Education Classroom at The Grace Museum located at 102 Cypress Street, Abilene, Texas 79601.
REGISTRATION DETAILS:
- Cost is $5 per student
- Minimum class size: 15 students
- Maximum class size: 40 students
- $75 minimum payment (or PO) is REQUIRED upon registration in order to secure your class date
- Must register at least 2 weeks prior to class date
- Notice of cancellation must be received 2 weeks prior in order to receive a refund
