Mix It Up! Art + Science

Seeking enrichment for your advanced students? Our new Art + Science classes provide TEKS-focused experiences at the Museum with hands-on learning! Public schools, private schools, charter schools, homeschooling groups, and co-ops are all invited to register their students.

The Grace Museum’s new Mix It Up! Art + Science classes are designed to challenge GT and advanced-curriculum 3rd, 4th & 5th grade students (ages 8-12) and will meet various Art and Science TEKS. Each class will be led by our Grace art and science instructors who will guide students through a hands-on activity that blends together related art and science principles for optimal learning.

Four different class options will be offered during the 2025-2026 school year. The capacity for each Art + Science class must be between 15-40 students (no more, no less). Multiple groups may register for the same class, as long as the total capacity does not exceed 40.

All classes will be held from 9:30-11:30 AM in the Education Classroom at The Grace Museum located at 102 Cypress Street, Abilene, Texas 79601.

REGISTRATION DETAILS:

Cost is $5 per student
Minimum class size: 15 students
Maximum class size: 40 students
$75 minimum payment (or PO) is REQUIRED upon registration in order to secure your class date
Must register at least 2 weeks prior to class date
Notice of cancellation must be received 2 weeks prior in order to receive a refund
